As Vice President of Culinary, Chef Casey Schallert plays a vital role in driving innovation and customer engagement at Midas Foods International. She leads key relationships with top-tier manufacturers and global restaurant chains across North America, ensuring Midas’ culinary vision is implemented effectively with clients. Chef Schallert oversees new product development and works closely with customers to anticipate emerging trends and deliver high-impact culinary solutions. With a strong background in savory applications, culinary sales demonstrations, and R&D, she is passionate about creating products that align with market trends and meet customer needs.

Chef Schallert brings impressive credentials to her role. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Science from the Culinary Institute of America and a Master’s Degree in Food Science from Kansas State University. An active member of the Research Chefs Association and the Institute of Food Technologists, she is recognized for her expertise in both culinary arts and food science. Twice invited to cook at The James Beard House, Chef Schallert’s experience spans restaurants, food manufacturing, and product development across multiple platforms.

Outside of work, Casey enjoys playing volleyball and exploring new restaurants with friends and family. She has two children and a beloved puggle, Louie. Her favorite food? Tacos—especially Tacos Arabes, a flavorful fusion of Mexican and Middle Eastern cuisine.
