Midas Foods International is committed to a safe, sustainable, and equitable planet for all of its inhabitants. We manufacture dry blend food mixes that deliver convenience, safe storage, and long storage life to provide, affordable, low cost ingredients and minimize shipping, refrigeration and waste throughout the supply chain. Our products are used in 20+ countries around the world in both manufacturing and restaurant environments.
Midas Foods International believes in a clean, safe environment, both within the walls of our facilities and for the planet as a whole. This is reflected in everything that we do, from the propagation of concentrated dry mix foods that require low energy usage in production (no cooking or refrigeration), shipping (dry v. refrigerated) and storage (dry v. refrigerated) to the land-use plan for our recent facility expansion which added green space and an environmentally friendly retention pond to our North American campus footprint.
- Water Preservation
- Dry blend eliminates massive amounts of water being shipped v. comparable amounts of finished product from prepared foods facilities
- Dry mix usage minimizes wastewater cleanup and biological oxygen debt (BOD) issues common in liquid plants.
- Ingredients/supplies are locally sourced/USA sourced wherever possible
- Food waste – Discontinued items (safe for consumption but no longer in production) are regularly donated to local shelters and food kitchens
- Pollution Reduction
- Midas Foods International believes in being good stewards of our planet which means minimizing pollution in order to keep the planet as pristine as possible for future generations. Toward that end, we only dispose of non- recyclable materials in legal and appropriate manners and we strive to use as little water as possible in our operations.
- Energy & Climate – Conservation and Carbon Footprint reduction
- Dry mix stored at ambient temperatures minimizes energy required by refrigerated and frozen shipping and storage versus prepared soups, sauces, dressings and other ready-to-use products.
- Lighting energy reduction – Midas Foods instituted LED lighting companywide, reducing electrical usage in all facilities.
- Resource conservation
- Distributors are not expending energy to store refrigerated and frozen product
- End users are not expending energy to store refrigerated and frozen product
- Shippers/logistics ship ambient, rather than powering refrigerated trucks.
- Many products require no heating to prepare (further reduction of energy usage)
- 1 truckload of dry product can equal 2 to 10 truckloads of prepared, which cuts fossil fuel usage 2 to 10x in shipping
- No Human Trafficking
- Our hiring practices ensure that we do not hire any trafficked person
- Midas Foods will never knowingly source or purchase materials that have been processed or made available through the enslavement or inhumane treatment of people in any country.

Midas has a strong comprehensive training program aimed at achieving a company-wide focus on a safe and high-quality work environment. The program begins with onboarding and is renewed and continued regularly throughout employment. It focuses on compliance, company culture, ESG goals, and essential tasks to prepare the associate to perform in their new role. We train in everything from food safety and personal well-being to ergonomics and visitor management, allowing each team member to develop valuable, transferrable skills.
