Midas Foods International is excited to announce the addition of Chef Casey Schallert as its new Vice President of Culinary. Chef Schallert brings over a decade of expertise at the intersection of culinary arts and food science, with experience spanning product development, trend exploration, and culinary sales. Twice invited to cook at The James Beard House in New York, Chef Schallert is recognized as one of North America’s leading culinologists.
“Chef Schallert is an exceptionally talented chef with extensive experience managing global customers and product development across a variety of platforms,” said Richard Elias, President of Midas Foods International. “We are thrilled to welcome her to our team. Her culinary skill, R&D expertise, and passion for innovation will be instrumental in driving our next phase of growth.”
In her new role, Chef Schallert will manage customer relationships across North America and oversee the high demand for Midas’ product development from top-tier manufacturers and global restaurant chains. She will implement Midas’ culinary vision with clients, guide new product development, and explore emerging food trends to fuel culinary innovation.
Chef Schallert holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Science from the Culinary Institute of America, and a Master’s Degree in Food Science from Kansas State University. She is an active member of the Research Chefs Association and the Institute of Food Technologists.
